The Where You Live Meme

1. How many places have you lived in your life?
Places? Evansville.
House? Six. Again, all in Evansville: My parents house on the north side, an apartment on the west side, a duplex with a crappy landlord on the southeast side, a rental house on the east side, an apartment on the farther east side, and our current house on the farther southeast side.

2. Which was your favorite and why?
Either the apartment on the west side; Horrible apartment complex, but it was my first place with Rubi, we had 2 cats, we could walk just about anywhere we needed (except work and school), and it was cheap - or the apartment on the east side; Spacious, I was not responsible for any maintenance, quiet area (at the time), walking distance to stores.

3. If you could live anywhere for the rest of your life, where would it be?
Anywhere with Rubi. Okay, I know, that's cheesy. Someplace spacious, someplace with nice scenery, someplace that doesn't get too hot or too cold, and someplace that is still relatively close to family. Will I ever really live there. Probably not. We'll probably stay in Evansville the rest of our lives.

4. What would your ideal home have in it?
Family. Shelves and shelves of books. Lots of space, room for computers, easy chairs, sofas, shelves and shelves of books, rooms for everyone in the family, quiet places, cool places, shelves and shelves of books, rooms for toys, rooms for hobbies, did I mention books?

5. Can you describe your current house?
A work in progress - as everything needs to be repaired, fixed, or updated. A stepping stone to eventually finding a nicer place.
