Yep, that's probably what'd I'd play

I Am A: Neutral Good Half-Elf Fighter

Neutral Good characters believe in the power of good above all else. They will work to make the world a better place, and will do whatever is necessary to bring that about, whether it goes for or against whatever is considered 'normal'.

Half-Elves are a cross between a human and an elf. They are smaller, like their elven ancestors, but have a much shorter lifespan. They are sometimes looked down upon as half-breeds, but this is rare. They have both the curious drive of humans and the patience of elves.

Fighters are the warriors. They use weapons to accomplish their goals. This isn't to say that they aren't intelligent, but that they do, in fact, believe that violence is frequently the answer.

I am a Chaotic Good Half-Elf Bard Mage
Follower Of Hanali Cenanil

Alignment:
Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.

Race:
Half-Elves are a cross between a human and an elf. They are smaller, like their elven ancestors, but have a much shorter lifespan. They are sometimes looked down upon as half-breeds, but this is rare. They have both the curious drive of humans and the patience of elves.

Primary Class:
Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.

Secondary Class:
Mages harness the magical energies for their own use. Spells, spell books, and long hours in the library are their loves. While often not physically strong, their mental talents can make up for this.

Deity:
Hanali Cenanil is the Chaotic Good elven goddess of love, beauty, and art. She is also known as the Heart of Gold and Lady Goldheart. Her followers delight in creation and youth, and work to spread happiness, love, and beauty. Their preferred weapon is the dagger.

I'm just curious, but what void in your life does stuff like this fill? Half-Elves? Good thing you aren't Half-Elvis. But at least he was real...

What void does posting to my blog silly memes fill?
That void is called "personal time", of which I have very little, and choose to use it occassionally to post whatever I want to this blog.

Clicking around the internet in my free time: 1-2 hours

Reading an interesting Kev Bayer post: 2-3 minutes

Taking one of those pointless time-killing online quizzes: 4 minutes

Copypasting the results: 27 seconds

Being told our lives have a void: timeless.

I'm sorry, let me clarify. Meme to your heart's content. I meant no malice to memes. (I do find it interesting that many of the meme topics deal with escapism..."what would you do if"..."where would you live if"...but that's a topic better suited for Dr. Phil's blog.)

My question was directed at D&D.

And by the way MCF, every life has a void. That's not a bad thing.

Kev - You didn't honestly expect to draw in only those who only agree?

Feel free to disagree. No big.
We're a free people, that's allowed.
D&D doesn't really fill any void in my life. I don't play. I used to game back in high school and college. But rarely D&D. I think I played D&D maybe four times total.
I still read Dragonlance novels occassionally, because Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman are excellent writers.
Thanks for reading!

Cool Kev - Disagree with you - inevitable; lack understanding or appreciation of the neitherworld imaginary realm stuff - most certainly; mean to be mean - never.

I do, however, see disconnect between the gaming stuff -- with wizards, goddess, magic spells and such -- and Christianity. Not sure how you work that equation in your head, but its not mine to solve.

One is fiction.
One is truth.

I know the difference in my head and in my soul.

And I never gamed with anyone who took it as more than fiction.
